Checkers Custard, Banana

The banana version, and in a lot of houses the one the children actually asked for.

How to make it

1. Three or four heaped tablespoons in a bowl.
2. Mix to a smooth paste with a little cold water first. This is the step that prevents lumps.
3. Pour in boiling water while stirring until it thickens.
4. Add milk and sugar to taste.

How it gets eaten

Breakfast on its own, or with akara, moi moi or bread. Best thick.
