The ground blend for pepper soup, so you are not grinding uda, ehuru, uziza and the rest by hand every time.

How to use it

1. Bring your meat or fish to the boil with onion, stock and a seasoning cube.
2. Add a heaped tablespoon of the spice and simmer twenty minutes. Pepper soup is a broth, not a thick soup, so resist the urge to reduce it.
3. Add fresh chilli to your own tolerance.
4. Scent leaf and uziza go in at the very end, last two minutes, or you lose the aroma entirely.

Goat, catfish, chicken, cow leg, assorted meat and unripe plantain.
